The Wynnefield Overbrook Revitalization Corporation (WORC) is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization created to improve the quality of life in the Wynnefield and Overbrook neighborhoods.  WORC provides leadership to identify, secure, support, and leverage resources, to implement strategies that will benefit the community and its residents.  WORC operates with an emphasis on six (6) priorities.

WORC’s 6 Priorities to:

  1. Stimulate the renewal of neighborhood commercial corridors

  2. Redevelop vacant commercial and institutional properties

  3. Facilitate economic development of neighborhood businesses

  4. Improve housing conditions and ownership rates

  5. Secure employment and workforce development opportunities for residents

  6. Address quality of life needs for the community
