St. Joseph’s University (SJU) & the Wynnefield Overbrook Revitalization Corporation (WORC) have created a Community Grant Program focusing on grants to small businesses, community organizations, and non-profit organizations (CDCs are not eligible) serving the Wynnefield-Overbrook communities.

Who Is Eligible? - small businesses, home-based businesses looking to upscale, community organizations & non-profit organizations serving residents in the Wynnefield-Overbrook communities.
Who is NOT Eligible? - CDCs, businesses with outstanding tax balances (unless in a current payment agreement)
What Type of Projects Are Considered? - Grant funds can support new business or new job creation, capacity building, program expansion efforts, infrastructure improvements & beautification efforts
Are There Any Conditions? - Yes, grant awards shall not exceed $5,000; grant recipients can only be selected once; grant award must be spent within a 6-month time period; a narrative-based report (with supporting receipts) documenting grant impact must be completed at grant closeout
